My preemies born at 31 weeks 2 days.

Gracelyn 3 lbs. 13 oz.

21 days in the NICU.

Ellie 3 lbs. 3 oz.

30 days in the NICU.

Look what I can do....

Ellie has finally mastered the art of pulling up!  She has been able for a couple of weeks, but she has really perfected the skill in the last few days.  She has also started to wave more often.  Doesn't she look so proud of herself in this picture.  Now that both girls are pulling up I know it is just a matter of time until I have a couple of toddlers on my hands!  That is going to be interesting....

Atlanta

We visited Dave's parents in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago.  Both girls were so good on the airplane.  As long as we had snacks they were happy!

Look at our Halloween books Nana gave us!

Sunday afternoon we went to a local pumpkin  patch.  Dave didn't make any of the pictures because he got left at home - asleep.  Gracelyn and Ellie had fun exploring the pumpkins and pine needles all over the ground.  Unfortunately, most of their exploring is done with their mouths!

Every Halloween since we have been married, I have told Dave I wanted to carve a pumpkin, but we never have.  We finally carved our first pumpkin this year!  I got most of the goop out, but Dave did the hard work.

Turned out pretty good, don't ya think? 

Ellie and Gracelyn had such a good time in Atlanta.  They can't wait to go back in March!!

We had a fun First Halloween. Unfortunately, both girls have had a virus so we didn't get to go to the Funival at our church tonight. We didn't want them around other kids, so we went to the TCU football game instead. We went ahead a dressed them up for the game.

I was just looking through all my pictures on my computer from September and October and realized there are a LOT of pics I haven't put up here so here you go....

Gracelyn and Ellie at 9 months old.  I know, I know, they are now almost 10 1/2 months, but I just had to show you these pictures.

Ellie--She had just discovered her tongue so she loved sticking it out.

Gracelyn wasn't having a great day.  We couldn't get many smiles out of her.

This picture was taken in early October.  We have had sooooo much rain I can't believe Gracelyn is still so excited about it! ;) 

Here is Dave holding Ellie and pushing Gracelyn after their first TCU football game.  They had a good time but once we finally left they were pretty tired.

Ellie and Gracelyn soaking up some Vitamin D.  They love, love, love being outside.  It has rained so much lately the grass has stayed really wet so we have had to put a blanket in the driveway just so we can go out.

Now that both girls are holding their own bottles while eating, I might be able to get a few things done around here!!
