We drove to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago because Dave was in a wedding there. We were a little worried about how Ellie and Gracelyn would do traveling that far. They did GREAT!! We left on a Wednesday night and drove straight through the night. The girls slept pretty well most of the night. But, we were ALL ready for a nap by the time we got to Dave's parent's house. On the way home we drove a little over halfway and stopped for the night. Thankfully, Ellie let us all sleep until about 7:30 the next morning. While Dave was driving I read to him. I recently bought Same Kind of Different as Me and it sounded like a story Dave would enjoy. It sure did make the time go by so much faster!! We got about 3/4 of the way through it before we got home. If you haven't read it, I would recommend it. It is a very touching story. We had so much fun with Dave's family and friends I didn't take very many pictures. The only shots I got were at the wedding reception and after church on Sunday. There was an egg hunt after church so Ellie and Gracelyn had a fun time looking for eggs. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so all the eggs were "hidden" inside the building.

Gracelyn loves having her daddy hold her.
Our little family. Both girls are doing some major teething, can ya tell?
Ellie does NOT know a stranger. She went right to the Easter Bunny and would have let him hold her all day, but there were other kids wanting to meet him, too.
Gracelyn is much more reserved than Ellie. She didn't seem scared of the Easter Bunny, but she didn't want him to hold her, either.
Gracelyn figured out pretty quickly what to do. She tried to grab as many eggs as she could, but it took some time for her to figure out she had to put the eggs in her bag before she could pick up more.
Ellie and me. She carried that one egg around for the longest time. Once she found an egg she just held onto it and wanted to go around and see what everyone else was doing. She is definitely a social butterfly!!
This is the only picture I got with both girls. It isn't great, but you can definitely see how excited they are.
Gracelyn and me. This was after the egg hunt was over and we were getting ready to leave. I don't think she was ready to go....
We had so much fun, but it was nice to be home, too. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed, right?!?!?!
