Twice the Fun Plus One

The first picture is the girls with Santa last year. They weren't crazy about him, but we were able to take several pictures.  There weren't very many smiles, though.  This is how it went this year.... No smiles at all.  Gracelyn held it together for about 30 seconds.  Ellie screamed and reached for her daddy the entire time.  We took them the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  I thought the mall would be really busy and we would have to wait in a long line.  Nope!  We had a chance to talk with Santa before he held the girls.  We thought if they could get acquainted then maybe we could get a good picture.  It didn't really work out that way, as you can see.  I will occasionally ask Ellie if she wants to go sit in Santa's lap and she promptly responds, "No way!"  Maybe next year....

Ellie & Gracelyn are wondering who the big guy in the silly hat is! We didn't ever get any real smiles, but at least there weren't any tears! Here are some pictures of the first time Ellie and Gracelyn met Santa.  They were still in the NICU and Santa and Mrs. Claus visited every single baby there.  Santa sure is a selfless guy!  Ellie's nurse wrapped her up and let Santa hold her.  Gracelyn looks so teeny tiny.  I can't believe that was just a year ago!
