Twice the Fun Plus One

Saturday night after the pumpkin patch we went to a nearby trunk or treat where our church was participating. Dave and I had so much fun with out little butterflies. Ellie and Gracelyn loved being dressed up!! We only went to a few trunks because the girls don't really eat much candy. (I guess I should say we don't give them much candy to eat.) We got to see some of our friends and the girls enjoyed their first ever lollipop. Gracelyn checking out her loot! Both girls were so excited to see their friend Tinkerbell! Ellie is perfectly content with her lollipop.  Gracelyn kept getting tired of hers and she would want a new one.  We just asked Ellie to trade with her and she did so happily every time.  She is so sweet to share with her sister! We went to the pumpkin patch today when Dave got off work.  The girls had a GREAT time.  They loved running around patting, kissing, and throwing the pumpkins. We visited Dave's parents in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago.  Both girls were so good on the airplane.  As long as we had snacks they were happy! Look at our Halloween books Nana gave us! Sunday afternoon we went to a local pumpkin  patch.  Dave didn't make any of the pictures because he got left at home - asleep.  Gracelyn and Ellie had fun exploring the pumpkins and pine needles all over the ground.  Unfortunately, most of their exploring is done with their mouths! Gracelyn was so excited to be at the pumpkin patch! Ellie--I don't know how we got this precious picture because she had a pumpkin stem in her mouth the entire time!! We had a fun First Halloween. Unfortunately, both girls have had a virus so we didn't get to go to the Funival at our church tonight. We didn't want them around other kids, so we went to a football game instead. We went ahead a dressed them up for the game. Ellie and Gracelyn before we left for the game.
